Heads Above the Waves are a not-for-profit organisation that raises awareness of depression and self-harm in young people. Their merch line funds the work they do and helps start conversations surrounding mental health, so I was super excited to be asked to design a piece.
Their new line focuses on themes of contrast and duality. For me, tough circumstances that get you down serve some purpose; when things are better they seem even even more beautiful for it. So my design came from this, embracing the dark times and knowing it will allow you to see the stars.
